Northridge's last matchup with Riverside could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Polar Bears lost 9-3 to the Pirates. The loss continues a trend for the Polar Bears in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost seven in a row.

Northridge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Riverside, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will venture away from home to face off against Twin Valley South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Riverside, they will face off against Newton Local at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
