Pueblo County came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Pueblo East Eagles 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Eagles two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-21.

Pueblo County had a senior duo take command as Cylie Leonard had seven digs and two aces and Noel Tapia had 13 assists and five digs. Tapia is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Sydney Vigil also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Pueblo County's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Pueblo East, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Pueblo County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against The Classical Academy on the 4th. As for Pueblo East, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Pueblo South on the 7th.
