Baseball Recap: East Hartford Takes a Loss

East Hartford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Windsor Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

East Hartford's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Windsor, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

East Hartford will square off against E.O. Smith/Tolland at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Windsor, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Platt at 3:45 p.m.
