After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dobyns-Bennett, Jefferson County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks by a score of 6-4. With that victory, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Cocke County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Joshua Diaz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Jefferson County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Cocke County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Jefferson County will challenge Kirkwood at 8:30 p.m. on March 21st. As for Cocke County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
