Baseball Recap: Perry Central's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Perry Central and Southeast Lauderdale squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Perry Central had to settle for second. They fell 9-5 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Friday.

Perry Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Moody, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Cayson Backstrom was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Perry Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14. As for Southeast Lauderdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 27-3-1.

As of now, neither Perry Central nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
