Volleyball Game Preview: St. Helens Lions vs. Scappoose Indians

The St. Helens Lions will face off against the Scappoose Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

St. Helens will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Tillamook, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Lions put the hurt on the Cheesemakers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Lions have beaten the Cheesemakers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cheesemakers has come to flipping the script.

Scappoose not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Seaside as they made off with a 3-0 win.

St. Helens' victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Scappoose, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.

St. Helens was able to grind out a solid victory over Scappoose in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
