Their  rough  18-8 defeat to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints  might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Raleigh of the  8-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Tuesday.

The team also got some help courtesy of  Walker Van Meter, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, the  win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.
 Raleigh will be playing at home against Meridian at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Meridian is coming into the  game with six straight  losses on the road,  meaning Raleigh will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Enterprise at 6:30  p.m. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
