Basketball Recap: Craig County Takes a Loss

Craig County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-27 loss at the hands of the Auburn Eagles. The Rockets lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 87-11 score last time.

Craig County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Auburn, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Craig County and Faith Christian will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 30th. Auburn and Eastern Montgomery will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
