Football Game Preview: Fryeburg Raiders vs. Lawrence Bulldogs

The Fryeburg Raiders will take on the Lawrence Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fryeburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Cony, who was ranked tenth at the time (Fryeburg was ranked 15th). The Raiders were beaten by the Rams 53-7 on Friday. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lawrence). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 35-7 win over Mt. Blue. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fryeburg fell to 4-1. As for Lawrence, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
