Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westside). They blew past the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers 52-8 on Saturday. The Wolves not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since October 31, 2024 (when they won 58-0).

Westside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dillyn White led the charge by rushing for 124 yards and three TDs. That's the most rushing touchdowns White has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gavin Meador, who rushed for 30 yards and a pair of scores.

Westside's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Westside and Houston Math Science & Tech will both be playing Wisdom the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
