Softball Recap: McLaurin Takes a Loss

McLaurin lost against Southeast Lauderdale back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. McLaurin came up short against Southeast Lauderdale, falling 17-3. McLaurin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McLaurin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklynn Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Stevens is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

McLaurin's record is now 3-5. As for Southeast Lauderdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season.

While McLaurin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
