Baseball Game Preview: French Camp Academy Panthers vs. Winona Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, French Camp Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Winona and fell 10-9.

For Winona's part, Miles Bailey was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three doubles gave Bailey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Richardson, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The victory (which was Winona's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for French Camp Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
