Charlotte High running back Maleek Williams verbally commits to Arkansas Razorbacks

Under the radar recruit verbally commits to Arkansas over offers from Kentucky, Illinois and Tennessee.

Highlights of the Indiana Fevers' Sophie Cunningham leading Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO) to a 49-35 win over Liberty (Liberty, MO) in the Class 5 state championship game. Cunningham posted a team-high 13 points and six assists while grabbing six rebounds. She finished her high school career leading Rock Bridge to four consecutive state titles.

Arkansas stole one away from the state of Florida and out from underneath the University of Illinois on Saturday when Class of 2017 running back Maleek Williams verbally committed to the Razorbacks.

Williams became more involved in the Charlotte (Punta Gorda, Fla.) offense during his sophomore season, returning four kickoffs for 88 yards while carrying the pigskin 39 times for 206 yards with two scores. That output was increased in 2015.
