Basketball Recap: Stockton Comes Up Short

Stockton managed to keep up with River Ridge until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Stockton Blackhawks came up short against the River Ridge Wildcats, falling 64-44. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Joe Winter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for River Ridge, going 12 of 19 on his way to 27 points. Winter's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Damon Dittmar, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine assists.

Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for River Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Stockton will head out on the road to face off against East Dubuque at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for River Ridge, they will welcome Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. River Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season.
