Oregon extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping them up to 11-8. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the DeForest Norskies, sneaking past 8-6. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 10-5 win the Norskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

As for DeForest, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since May 30, 2025.

For DeForest's part, Carter Meyers made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Tru Killerlain, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Coming up, Oregon will take on Verona at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. DeForest will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' contest: after the Panthers face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on DeForest again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
