Basketball Recap: Iraan Skates Past Fort Hancock with Ease

Iraan hadn't done well against Fort Hancock recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Iraan Braves simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fort Hancock Mustangs 65-27. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Mustangs on January 10th, they had to take a 61-58 defeat.

Iraan's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Fort Hancock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wink the next time they take the court. Fort Hancock will host Wink at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Iraan will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
