While Olympic Heights put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Atlantic Christian. The Lions put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 19-0 victory. Considering the Lions have won seven matches by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaitlyn Courtney made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Alexa Gleichenhaus was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Elsie Throckmorton was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Olympic Heights and bumps their season record up to 9-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Olympic Heights will square off against Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.38 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. Atlantic Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
