Baseball Recap: North Haven Gets the Win

North Haven barely beat Sheehan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Nighthawks never let the Titans get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Nighthawks have won three games by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

North Haven's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sheehan, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3-1.

Looking ahead, North Haven will challenge Fairfield Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Nighthawks 4, the Jesuits 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Sheehan, they will face off against West Haven at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.64 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
