Softball Recap: Cape Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Cape Elizabeth lost to Fryeburg back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Capers lost 20-10 to the Raiders. Even if the Capers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Cape Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Fryeburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

As of now, neither Cape Elizabeth nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
