Recap: Crothersville Tigers vs. West Washington Senators        
        
		
            
 The Crothersville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by West Washington on the road  and fell  94-18. While losing is never fun, Crothersville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 394th, while West Washington is ranked 158th).
  Brooklyn Bottorff was Crothersville's leading scorer, having posted five points.
 West Washington's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Lilly Thompson, who  scored 15 points along with six  assists and six  steals. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was  Meredith Deaton, who  scored 19 points along with five  steals.
 Crothersville's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 3-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for West Washington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crothersville will be home for the holidays to greet  Shawe Memorial at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Shawe Memorial is coming into the  contest on a four-game losing streak. West Washington will be home for the holidays to greet  Springs Valley at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Springs Valley is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last three games.
