Football Recap: East Coweta Indians vs. North Cobb Warriors
East Coweta was the 42-23 winner over North Cobb when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The East Coweta Indians fell 27-20 to the North Cobb Warriors on Friday.
East Coweta lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ricky Howell Jr, who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown. Howell Jr got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible50 yards.
East Coweta now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Cobb, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
East Coweta will square off against Lovejoy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Cobb, they will take on Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Cobb is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
