Crest has gone a perfect 9-0 against Shelby recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Crest Chargers will welcome the Shelby Golden Lions at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Crest didn't have quite enough to beat South Caldwell and fell 2-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Shelby had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Hilltoppers. Ramsey Brooks had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Golden Lions got from the refs.

Shelby's offense was hitting R-S Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Shelby's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Crest took their win against Shelby in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. Will Crest repeat their success, or does Shelby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
