With a playoff win on the line, Varela rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Miami Pioneers by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Vipers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Damian Ortega and Anthony Perez scored all three of Varela's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Varela's win bumped their record up to 8-6-2. As for North Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5-2.

Varela didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Archbishop McCarthy on the 7th. North Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
