Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williams). They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Graham 56-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Red Devils are ranked 412th).

Southern Alamance better focus on containing Amarion Richmond and Kyrian Fuller as the pair were huge in Williams' win. Richmond rushed for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Fuller rushed for 65 yards and one TD. Jazian Bigelow was in the mix too, providing Williams with two scores.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Williams, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bubba Sims, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Southern Alamance has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 281.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Williams struggles in that department as they've been averaging 203.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Southern Alamance came up short against Williams when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 38-29. Thankfully for the Patriots, Dan Mahan (who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 169 yards and two TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
