 Rodriguez is 10-0 against Fairfield since March of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Rodriguez Mustangs will head out on the road to  face off against  the Fairfield Falcons at 4:00  p.m. Fairfield took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Rodriguez, who comes in off a win.
 Rodriguez is headed into the  contest fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Armijo with a sharp  20-7 victory on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Rodriguez needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
 Rodriguez let  Jasmyn White and  Hailey Permenter loose on the outfield. White  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4, while  Permenter  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Juliana McClain, who  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI and two  doubles.
 Meanwhile, Fairfield fell victim to Vacaville and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They lost  14-0 to the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 14  runs in the game before, Fairfield's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Rodriguez's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Fairfield, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 11 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record  this season.
 Rodriguez was able to grind out a solid  victory over Fairfield in their previous meeting  on April 11th, winning  6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rodriguez since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
