Soccer Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

If Glenwood was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Creston on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell just short of the Tri-Center Trojans by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Glenwood of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Glenwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-4. As for Tri-Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season.

Glenwood is taking a road trip to square off against Denison-Schleswig at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-Center, they will welcome Panorama at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
