Basketball Recap: Boylan Catholic Takes a Loss

Boylan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 61-52 to the Jefferson J-Hawks. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 51-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boylan Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Boylan Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-47 defeat against Grayslake Central on the 21st. Jefferson and UIC College Prep will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
