Milford waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Marysville Vikings by a score of 2-0.

Lexa Pierson paced Milford's offense, picking up 12 kills. Pierson got some help from Ryleigh Johnston and her 11 assists. Millie Ashcroft controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 17-3-1. As for Marysville, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9-1.

Milford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Woodhaven on the 27th. As for Marysville, they will venture away from home to take on Sterling Heights Stevenson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
