Albuquerque can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Hope Christian Huskies. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Gabriel Pohl was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Erick Aceves, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Albuquerque was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Albuquerque's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Hope Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albuquerque will head out to challenge Valencia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valencia will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Albuquerque surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hope Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Capital at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
