Dewar came tearing into Saturday's match with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Wright City Lumberjax with a 67-63 win. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered a 71-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wright City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Reich, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniya Pigg, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Dewar's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Wright City, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-12.
