Burlington posted their closest win since May 15, 2025 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bedford Buccaneers 8-7. This was payback for the Red Devils, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

With the win, Burlington broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Bedford, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Burlington has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Wakefield Memorial on the 22nd. As for Bedford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-4 victory against Greater Lawrence Tech on the 21st.
