Middletown put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-6 W against the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks.

Middletown's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Newburgh Free Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middletown is set to take on their familiar foe Valley Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Newburgh Free Academy will square off against rival Monroe-Woodbury at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
