While Stamford's win against Greenwich wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-13 victory over the Cardinals on Friday. The Black Knights haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Stamford now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Greenwich, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stamford will square off against rival Ludlowe at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Greenwich is set to challenge their familiar foe Ridgefield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
