Preview: Great Falls Red Devils vs. North Central Knights
The Great Falls Red Devils will be home for the holidays to greet the North Central Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Great Falls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-55 victory over Buford. Given Great Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Buford is ranked 297th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, North Central didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against McBee on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 59-54 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for North Central.
Great Falls' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for North Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.
