Streator/Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morris Redskins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Streator/Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14-2. As for Morris, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-15-1.
Streator/Woodland will venture away from home to take on Ottawa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ottawa is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. Morris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
