Basketball Recap: Pine Prairie Comes Up Short

Pine Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Northwest Raiders 97-15. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pine Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Northwest, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Prairie will take on Gueydan on Wednesday. As for Northwest, they will face off against Ville Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
