Basketball Recap: Peyton Gray Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tell City

Heritage Hills won the last time they faced Tell City and things went their way on Friday too. The Heritage Hills Patriots took down the Tell City Marksmen 67-51. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly 16 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peyton Gray, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Gray has posted since back in December of 2024. Tait Wetzel was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Heritage Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive games.

Heritage Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. Tell City's loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Heritage Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-52 defeat against Princeton on the 25th. As for Tell City, they have also already played their next game, a 60-57 win against North Posey on the 22nd.
