Basketball Game Preview: Austin Panthers vs. East Forest Bears

The Austin Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the East Forest Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Austin has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 12.

On Friday, Austin took a blow against Cameron County, falling 63-31. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 730th, while the Raiders are ranked 322nd).

Meanwhile, East Forest had to suffer through a 72-39 loss at the hands of Redbank Valley. The Bears have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

East Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
