Basketball Recap: Calhoun Yellow Jackets vs. Gilmer Bobcats
Calhoun entered their tilt with Gilmer on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over the Gilmer Bobcats. While the Yellow Jackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Calhoun was led to victory by Trey Perkins and Trace Hawkins. Perkins dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 boards, while Hawkins went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points.
