Ponte Vedra hasn't had much luck against Trinity Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ponte Vedra Sharks will challenge the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors at 7:00 p.m. Ponte Vedra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
Ponte Vedra's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over Riverside. The win was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won three games in a row.

Roshan Patel made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, James Salvati and Luke George did most of the damage at the plate: Salvati scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while George scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. George has become a key player for Ponte Vedra: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-2 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against North Marion.
Brennan Bachtell Jr looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Gage Petrutz was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Ponte Vedra pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs over those games. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their record now sits at 3-0.
Ponte Vedra came up short against Trinity Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 6-2. Can Ponte Vedra avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
