Soccer Game Preview: Lee vs. Honaker

Lee is 0-5 against Honaker since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Generals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Lee has given up an average of 5.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lee is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Gate City.

Meanwhile, Honaker kept a clean sheet against Lebanon on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pioneers, sneaking past 1-0. The win continues a trend for Honaker in their matchups with Lebanon: they've now won eight in a row.

Honaker's one-goal win came courtesy of Julia Barton, who's now up to 11 this season.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Honaker, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Lee suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Honaker in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
