Volleyball Game Preview: Blanco Panthers vs. Llano Yellowjackets + How To Watch

Blanco has gone 9-1 against Llano recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will head out to take on the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Blanco made easy work of Florence and carried off a 3-0 win.

Lily Bendele was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 19 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Llano beat Comfort 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Llano had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Blanco better keep an eye on Sydney Kuykendall. She was instrumental in Llano's win, getting 12 digs. That's the most digs Kuykendall has posted since back in September.

Blanco's record now sits at 12-24. As for Llano, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Blanco has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Llano struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Blanco was able to grind out a solid victory over Llano in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
