Football Game Preview: Mt. Ararat Eagles vs. Cape Elizabeth Capers

The Mt. Ararat Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Cape Elizabeth Capers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Ararat will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Mt. Ararat is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Waterville, who was ranked 19th at the time (Mt. Ararat was ranked third). The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Panthers 46-8. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Cape Elizabeth took a blow against Spruce Mountain on Friday, falling 62-6. The contest marked the Capers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mt. Ararat's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cape Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
