Cairo hasn't had much luck against Colquitt County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cairo Syrupmakers are taking a road trip to take on the Colquitt County Packers at 5:30 p.m. The pair come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Cairo is headed out to face Colquitt County after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they we're looking for. Cairo had just enough and edged Miller County out 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Syrupmakers have posted since August 15, 2023.
Meanwhile, Colquitt County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Bainbridge as Colquitt County made off with a 13-6 victory.
