Soccer Recap: East Gaston Comes Up Short

East Gaston lost against Burns back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 5-0 to the Bulldogs. East Gaston have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Burns, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Coming up, East Gaston will challenge Cherryville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Gaston will be up against Cherryville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Burns, they will square off against Forestview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
