Preview: McKean Highlanders vs. Glasgow Dragons
McKean and Glasgow are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The McKean Highlanders will be playing at home against the Glasgow Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
McKean fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Christiana 34-6 at home.
Meanwhile, Glasgow waltzed into Friday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 25-14 victory over Dickinson.
Glasgow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamar Smith, who rushed for 119 yards. Walter Bess also helped out as he racked up 101 rushing yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Glasgow's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Kameryn Swinney and his two sacks.
McKean is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Glasgow, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-6.
