Softball Recap: Port Chester Rams vs. Edgemont Panthers
Port Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 22-5 walloping at the hands of the Edgemont Panthers. Port Chester was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Edgemont apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.
Port Chester saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tabby Sanchez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Port Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Chester will take on Fox Lane at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgemont, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rye at 4:30 p.m. on April 24th.
