Basketball Recap: Lordsburg Comes Up Short

Lordsburg was the 81-58 winner over Mescalero Apache when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lordsburg Mavericks fell to the Mescalero Apache Chiefs 58-53.

Lordsburg's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Mescalero Apache, their win bumped their record up to 6-18.

Coincidentally, Lordsburg and Mescalero Apache will both be playing Mesilla Valley Christian School the next time they take the court. Mescalero Apache will head out to face Mesilla Valley Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lordsburg will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
