Football Game Preview: Ozark Hillbillies vs. Dardanelle Sand Lizards

Ozark is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dardanelle is on a seven-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Hillbillies will host the Sand Lizards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Ozark is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Pottsville: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hillbillies blew the Apaches out of the water with a 51-20 final score. Considering the Hillbillies have won four games by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ozark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Casey Morland and Colten Rosson.

Meanwhile, Dardanelle strolled past Lamar with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-21. The win almost wasn't to be: the Sand Lizards were down 21-7 in the second quarter.

Ozark's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Dardanelle, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
