Triad barely beat Rochester the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand the Rockets a 3-0 shutout on Monday. Considering Triad have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Triad's victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for Rochester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9-1.

Looking ahead, Triad will take on Mascoutah at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Mascoutah will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Triad surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rochester, they will face off against Pleasant Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
